Creating content pages

Creating a web page is very similar to creating any other publication, but you will need to add page names to the navigation bar, heres how:

Adding a Page

On the Insert  menu choose Page

Setting page properties

On the File menu choose Web properties, now on the file tab give your page a name (to avoid problems with web servers stick to lower case with no spaces) and title.  The title will appear in the navigation bar.  Check the

View Dialog

The rest is as any other document, but remember...

Use your styles

The whole point of styles is to create a consistent appearance within and across pages.  If you feel you need some text formatted differently think about why, then create an appropriately named style for it so that you can re-use it later.

Use your layout guides (grid)

The layout grid should make it much easier to line things up, particularly on a more complex page.

boxes are fine.  Used consistently these can greatly enhance the appearance of your site.
